History
Since it’s founding in 1959 by Homer Hiebert, MD and Guy Finney, MD, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine has been at the forefront of radiology practice, both in Kansas and nationally. Our group has included leaders within the American College of Radiology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology and other state and national professional organizations.
Over the years, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine has played a leading role in the introduction of important technologies to Northeast Kansas. These include radiation therapy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET, CT Colonography, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, and TomoTherapy.
After more than a half-century, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine’s physicians are proud to continue our tradition of bringing you Excellence in Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
